The arrow keys to steer dont compare to a virtual joystick. Worse, the view doesnt follow the car, so sometimes the left arrow makes the car turn left (as it heads up the screen) and sometimes right (as it heads down). End result is an unplayable game for young kids, which is too bad since mine love the awesome graphics. A brilliant creative concept marred by poor controls :(

it is the coolest game but please create this game online

This game is great. If you think its easy due to its nature you would be wrong and thats a good thing. My only gripe is that it would be nice if the dev allowed the camera to zoom out slightly more as it requires some memorization of the tracks in order to get around at full speed. Not a bad thing but seeing more track would help soak in the environments and make hitting jumps and following racers a bit easier and enjoyable. I say for 2 bucks its a steal but be prepared to be a bit frustrated initially.

- a star for only having 4 tracks, not enough at all so please add more!! - another star because you have to play the 1st track 30 times before you have enough stars to unlock the second track, it would be nice if they were a little bit cheaper Graphics are good and there are a couple different control methods which is good but all in all I wish there was more content

Awesome new micro racer! Excellent HD graphics, good sound, fast cars, challenging AI, beautiful and creative racing environments... overall just excellent. With its little toy cars racing through toy mazes, theres no other game like it on the app store. The developer has also promised some great additions in the next update: virtual stick steering, adjustable difficulty levels, adjustable camera, minimap, retina icon, and more. If this looks interesting to you, dont hesitate, great game for a great price!

at first i was hesitate to buy this game, i think its just another kiddo games...but like i said dont get fool by its appearance.the game can be quite challenging as it takes sometimes to get used to it. controls are good which there are 4 option of control mechanism to suits you and the default one is similar to reckless racing.the racing maps are well design with polished graphics. physics are good like the bumping box and the slippery toys, etc its just make the game quite difficult to master yet fun to play with it. overall i think this game will be great if the dev keeps the update coming like more detail particles perhaps?(as its already great now) + make it optimized graphics to support the ipad 2...like full AA?aside from that im still busy now to catch up with the AI player to be number one to finished the race... ps.forget to say there are 4 different maps and each maps needs stars to unlock it which u can get it by winning the race.fully recommend this game if u are fans of top down racing like reckless racing or death rally.

I really like this racing title but needs a few things: Higher awards for unlocking cars and tracks. (Its silly to award zero stars for finishing last, because the controls are not great). Please add a zoom to see better, its hard to control when its zoomed in so close.

This is a great racer with beautiful graphics and solid controls. Looks like an easy game but definately has a good element of challenge. Going for enough stars to unlock new cars and tracks will keep you playing for quite some time. The other modes are equally as fun and extend the replay. Only things that this game could benefit from would be the ability to zoom the camera out some, and then adding in Game Center for achievements and leaderboards would be awesome, and would increase the games replayability even further. Well worth the asking price for a quality racer such as this. A+++

Fun, colorful, and most importantly challenging! This is a great little game that will fill that micro racer niche!

Just played this with my four year old, we both love it..wonderful graphics, tight controls , fun unlockables... Well worth the asking price, and upcoming updates based on user feedback sound great with a hand s on responsive dev.

Great and challenging game. I love the graphics, reminds me of micro machines. I like the customization and that you have to earn stars to unlock new tracks and new cars. Plenty of options to control your card to suit your style.

The graphics are nice, but the steering controls are awful. The car continues to turn in a circle when you want to make a slight turn.

Just tried it on my iPad2, looks amazing!!! Controls are just perfect and everything runs much smoother. I think u guys have the most serious&addictive drive feel/physics over there. Thanks for the great made! Great graphics & music and great riding experience. For me the best drive feeling on the iOS market! They could work a bit on the frame rate, but there are plenty of video options to play with already. Worth the money!!

Whats the point Id give zero stars if I could

My son bought this with his iTunes gift card he got for Xmas and deleted it 10 minutes later. He said it was boring. I tried it and the car is controlled by onscreen arrows (not tilt) and the controls seemed a bit insensitive at first and then over sensitive once you got them engaged (ie the car keeps turning after you stop pressing the button and veers into the wall). Not a very fun experience for a 4 year old. He wanted a fun racing game and I wanted something that didnt have violence or sex.This app looked appealing but needs some work.

At first I hated the game I was awful at it. But then I kept going and now Im I pro. Keep going with it it gets funner!

This app was the worst $1.99 I have ever spent

In the beginning everything was locked - you only get one car and one track and that costs 500 stars. The camera angle and handling were not good also. The free version (Playroom Racer 2) is much better

I should have read the other reviews before purchasing. The controls are different from the first racer game, the camera angles switch to looking back at the car (which is ridiculous and makes the game more difficult for my 4 yo), and you only get a single track and car without paying in-game coins you must earn. The original is better.
